- OVERLOAD: Only level loads are allowed. Containers that are loaded higher than the top rail will be noted and documented with pictures. An additional $250 overload fee will be added to the bill.
- ACCESSIBILITY: A dry run fee of $250 will be charged if the container is non-accessible on the pickup date. Rescheduling may also apply.
- RENTAL PERIOD: The client will receive a one-week grace period for waste containers (7 calendar days for service, weekends apply). Additional days will result in a $35 per day charge.
- 10-yard lowboys have a 3 calendar day maximum on projects. Additional days will result in a $35 per day charge.
- There is a waiver if the container is serviced multiple times per week/month period.
- LIABILITY: The client is responsible for theft, damage, and vandalism of units on the job site, including the placement of containers via customer request.
- RATES & FEES: Container rates vary based on factors such as materials, container size, and distance.
- A flat rate charge applies to a 10-yard container containing dirt/concrete/sod.
- Weight limits are 1 ton included in 10-yard dumpster containers for waste trash, then $85-$150 per additional ton.
- Weight limits are 1 ton included in the 20-yard dumpster, then $85-$150 per ton additional.
- Weight limits are 4 tons included in the 30-40 yard dumpsters, then $85-$150 per ton additional.
- PAYMENT: Debit or credit cards must be placed on file for security purposes and overweight fees.
- PROPERTY DAMAGE: Koehler Hauling Service is not responsible for any property damage, such as cracked concrete scratches or any disturbance upon delivery/pick-up of containers that are placed on the property. Homeowners/contractors have the right to provide plywood/lumber as well as labor to place under wheels upon dropping (the driver is not responsible for the placement of wood due to liability reasons).
- CANCELLATION FEE: There will be a cancellation fee of $300 charged if the job is cancelled, or the container is on-site and rejected by contractors/homeowners.
- LEGAL ACTION: In the event of legal action, the customer will be held fully responsible for all legal costs and charged all fees plus 10% on all returned checks (insufficient funds, etc.).
- HAZARDOUS WASTE: Federal and state laws forbid unlawful dumping of hazardous waste into containers. All laws will be strictly enforced. There will be a minimum $500 charge for visual/non-visual substance in the load, or possible rejection of hauling (driver's decision).
- DELIVERY TIME: Due to the increased demand for container services, Koehler Hauling Service has a 2-3 hour window upon delivery minimum to service customers accordingly (we cannot control freeway traffic, accidents, road closures, dump traffic, etc.).
- SAME-DAY DELIVERY: Once the container has been delivered to the property address provided by the client, Koehler Hauling Service are not obligated to transport waste on the same-day deliveries. If Koehler Hauling Service are notified that the container is filled before the 7 calendar day period, they are not obligated to transport it off the job site location unless an open slot is available on the route up to the 7th calendar day.
- CLEANING FEE: Any contaminants inside the container that leave residue must be charged a cleaning fee. The price can vary from $150-$500, depending on the amount of work needed to prepare for the following service.
- TIRE DISPOSAL: Any tires found in the load will be charged based on size. Car tires will be $40 each, and large tires (semi-truck) will be $100 per tire for disposal on top of the load cost.
By doing business with Koehler Hauling Service, the client acknowledges their understanding and acceptance of the policies, fees, and potential charges as outlined above. Koehler Hauling Service reserves the right to modify or update this service agreement at any time without prior notice.
